Description of Website and App TheHoopJourney.com, including its website and the CoachIQ mobile application, is operated by The Hoop Journey to provide basketball training services. Through the website and CoachIQ app, users can: - Access information about private and group basketball training programs. - Register and pay for training sessions. - Manage schedules for training sessions. - Communicate with coaches about performance and development. User Responsibilities Users must provide accurate information when creating accounts or registering for sessions and keep their login information secure. All activity done through a user account is the responsibility of the account holder. Users agree to use the website and CoachIQ app only for lawful purposes and to treat coaches, staff, and other users respectfully. Content and Intellectual Property All training materials provided on TheHoopJourney.com and the CoachIQ app, including instructional videos, drill guides, images, and written content, are owned by The Hoop journey or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users may access these materials only for personal use in connection with basketball training and may not copy, modify, share, or sell any materials without prior written permission. This does not include images or media of athletes, which are addressed in the Media Release section. Media Release / Use of Athlete Content By participating in training sessions and/or using the website or CoachIQ app, athletes (or their parent/guardian if under 18) grant The Hoop Journey permission to capture and use photos, videos, and other media of their participation for marketing, promotional, educational, and instructional purposes. This includes posting on the website, CoachIQ app, social media, advertisements, or other materials. Consent is voluntary but required for minors, and may be revoked in writing. Previously published materials may still be used. Connecticut Liability and Medical Waiver Participation in basketball training involves physical activity that carries inherent risks. By enrolling in training sessions in Connecticut, the athlete (or parent/guardian if under 18) acknowledges these risks and voluntarily assumes responsibility for any injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property. Parents/guardians acknowledge that Connecticut law may limit enforceability of waivers for minors but confirm that this waiver represents informed consent on behalf of the minor. Users confirm the athlete is in good physical condition and has no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. Parents/guardians agree to notify coaches of relevant medical issues before training. Acceptable Use Users may not use the website or CoachIQ app to harass, harm, or interfere with other users, post unlawful content, or attempt unauthorized access to systems. Violations may result in suspension or termination of account access. Acknowledgment and Signature By checking the box indicating acceptance, I acknowledge that I have read and understood these Terms, Media Release, and Liability/Medical Waiver, and agree to comply with all rules and guidelines.
